General Meeting Information

DATES: Meetings are held the second Monday of every month from September through May. In June we have a luncheon. You can find the schedule HERE.

LOCATION: All meetings are held at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT.  (The CT Piecemakers Quilt Guild has no affiliation with any religion and welcomes all people to our meetings.)

TIME: Doors open at 9 am to give members time to sign in, socialize, and get seated before the 9:30 start time. With approximately 150 members there is always a lot going on before the meeting begins - dropping off or picking up Comfort Quilts, occasional fabric sales, and a “free” table in the social hall. 

MEETING AGENDA typically includes: 

  • Business and Committee updates.

  • Fat Quarter raffle: Each month we have a different fat quarter theme (check the newsletter or the meeting schedule for each month’s theme). For each fat quarter you bring your name goes into a drawing to win a bundle of fat quarters.

  • Show and Tell where members share their latest completed projects. 

  • Short break.

  • Guest speaker.  (See Meeting Schedule for details)

  • Meeting adjourns at approximately 12:30 PM. 

GUESTS are welcome and may attend a meeting for a $10 fee which shall be applied to membership dues if she/he joins the guild that day. There is no fee in September. Upon arrival, please check in at the Membership table in the lobby. 

MEETING CANCELLATION: In the event of inclement weather an email will be sent to members. You can also check the Facebook page.

PLEASE NOTE: No food or drinks (other than water) are allowed in the church sanctuary where we meet).
