Quilt Show Entries

Each and every member of the Connecticut Piecemakers is encouraged to enter a quilt for our 2016 show.  Seeing one of your creations hanging in a quilt show is a great experience for a quilter.  The 2016 show also offers you the opportunity to have your quilt critiqued by certified quilt judges and possibly win a ribbon in the show.

Here are some of the details about hanging a quilt in the show -- and links to the documents that you will need to read, understand, and fill out in order to register you quilt (or quilts) for hanging in the show.

  • Hanging a quilt in the Spring Shower of Quilts XVI quilt show is reserved for members of the Connecticut Piecemakers Quilt Guild only.  You must be a fully paid member of record as of October 15, 2015 to hang a quilt in the Spring 2016 show.
  • You may submit multiple quilts to the show.  The hanging committee reserves the right to remove quilts from the show if the display space becomes full -- but each member is assured at least one quilt to hang.
  • You may also have your quilt(s) judged by certified quilt judges.  Please read all documentation carefully as deadlines and quilt drop-off locations and dates are different for judged and non-judged quilts.
  • The DEADLINE for receipt of your entry form, fee, and color photo is FEBRUARY 16, 2016

Stay tuned to this area for more information about the quilt judging process.
