Signs of Autumn - Michelle Hiatt
Signs of Autumn pattern offers a table runner or wall quilt (or both). Both projects were designed by Deb Tucker. Each includes a favorite leaf block and flying geese strips to create its overall design, utilizing the Wing Clipper I and Corner Beam tools. Beautiful pieced leaves are combined with flying geese in this fun table runner. Both the table runner and wall quilt are perfect scrap projects and both may be pieced with multiple fabric tones or a limited color palette.
Learn how to use Studio 180 rulers to make corner beam blocks with ease using the Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 Design’s Corner Beam ruler. Learn the easiest method for Flying Geese and Diamond Square blocks using the Studio 180 Design’s Wing Clipper I and Square2. There are many fundamental skills to learn that will help for many quilts to come!
There is pre-work required for this class to get the most out of your class time. The two rulers required for this class are Wing Clipper 1 and the Corner Beam ruler. If you are making the wall quilt, you will also use the Square2. You can purchase them online before class to facilitate the class pre-work (click here to use the "shop" option on Michelle's website -- sewonthego.net>>)
You can also purchase the rulers on Monday after the lecture.
Quilt sizes are 19 1/2 x 41 or 43 x 43.
